College & Career Night

This event offers students and parents direct access to representatives from over 200 programs, including 2- and 4-year colleges, international universities, financial aid, military branches, and career programs. While tailored for 11th-grade students, all CUSD high school families are welcome to attend this free event.

Parking space is limited, we encourage ride-sharing whenever possible.

Please refer to our event map and plan to enter the MiraCosta College San Elijo campus through the main entrance on Manchester Avenue. Follow posted signs to access self-parking.

We hope you can join us for the event to assist your post-high school planning process!

The annual College & Career Fair is offered in partnership with the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC) and the San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD).

Event Highlights

  • College & Career Fair 4:30 – 6:30 PM: Connect personally with admission and program representatives to learn about specific campuses and programs.
  • Information Sessions 4:00 - 7:00 PM: Focused presentations on post-secondary planning.
    Advance registration is required for in-person attendance (11th grade priority). All sessions will be recorded for later viewing.
    11th-grade families are invited to register for open sessions using our online form.
    • Session I: 4:00 – 4:50 PM
    • Session II: 5:00 – 5:50 PM
    • Session III: 6:00 – 6:50 PM

How to Prepare for the Event

  1. Use the NEW Career & College Fair Webapp: Add the the app to your iPhone (via Safari) or Android (via Chrome), and use it on the day of the event to view session schedules, presentation details, and an interactive map of college and career program locations.
  2. Register with Strivescan (optional): Since our upcoming event is a WACAC College Fair, CUSD students now have the option to register with StriveScan! StriveScan makes it easy to share your information with the colleges you're interested in. Register online, save your barcode to your phone, and let College Reps scan it during the fair. It’s the fastest way to get on the mailing lists for the schools you are interested in.
