What to Expect

College & Career Night is designed to help students and families explore a wide range of post-secondary options. While the information is especially helpful for 10th–11th grade students, all CUSD high school students and families are welcome to attend.

During the event, students can participate in a college and career fair featuring a wide variety of institutions and organizations as well as post-secondary planning information sessions, including dedicated sessions for students receiving special education services.

Our College & Career Night also features a post-secondary transition resource fair for families and students in a specialized high school program. Whether a student is working towards a certificate of completion, on an alternative pathway to their diploma, or on a traditional route to graduation, ALL students can benefit from the transition information available at the resource fair.

Vendors present at this year's transition resource fair include the San Diego Regional Center, California Department of Rehabilitation, inclusive post-secondary education options, tailored day services, social recreation and so much more! Join us to learn more about adult support, employment, and education options avaialble to students as they plan for life after high school.
