Carlsbad High School was originally constructed in 1958 and it received significant improvements to Buildings 4000-9000 from the Measure P General Obligation Bond. When Measure HH was passed upgrading Building 2000 into a 21st Century science lab was the next project on the list. The existing 21,000 square foot, with 15 classrooms, a computer lab, and a teacher’s office was converted to 11 larger science classrooms, a flex classroom, and support spaces, upgraded with the new technology, utility infrastructure, lighting, casework, and finishes to be in alignment with the curriculum standards of today.
