The Board welcomes community input to inform the search for the CUSD’s new superintendent.

The CUSD Board of Trustees hired Education Support Services Group (ESS) and approved the tentative timeline for the new superintendent search process. An important part of the search is to engage staff, families and community regarding what they would like to see in the next superintendent of the Carlsbad Unified School District. The Board welcomes input through an online survey, which will be open through March 3, 2025. Your input is very important to us and we encourage your participation. The search firm will also conduct various in-person meetings with representative employee, student and parent groups during the month of February.
